Having studied design from CEPT University, Ahmed Abbas and Farhaz Ahmed developed their sense of design in an environment that encouraged exploration and hands on experimentation.

 

a&f design was conceived by taking the same essence of exploration forward, of learning and trying something new. Each new project is tackled with an attempt of exploring new techniques of material expression and construction; and is driven by the same curiosity to learn and research.

 

An amalgamation of function, climate response and symbolic expression, the design undergoes various stages of refinement through drawings, mock-ups and digital models. The design process and execution combines hand craftsmanship with digital computation and fabrication, incorporating the best of both techniques.
